Born from a Love of Wild Places

brook-lynx began in 2015 when a small group of friends, all professional wilderness guides, decided to create something different. After years of leading expeditions for large tour companies, we recognized that the most meaningful outdoor experiences happen when groups are small, itineraries are flexible, and guides genuinely care about sharing their knowledge.

We named ourselves after the elusive Canada lynx, a creature that embodies the spirit of the northern wilderness: resourceful, patient, and perfectly adapted to its environment. Like our namesake, we move through wild places with respect and leave minimal traces behind.

Today, brook-lynx operates across six Canadian provinces and territories, from the Pacific rainforests of British Columbia to the arctic tundra of the Yukon. Our team has grown to include twelve full-time guides, each bringing specialized expertise in different terrains and activities.
